Opportunity to Increase Business Exposure in new Restaurant Australia Campaign

Destination NSW is asking regional food and beverage businesses to share their stories and encourage people to visit the Snowy Mountains. The new Restaurant Australia campaign will capitalise on the growing demand from travellers for authentic local culinary experiences as part of their travel.

All food, wine, beverage, hospitality and tourism businesses are encouraged to get involved from restaurants, cellar doors and festivals and events to farmers markets, producers, cooking schools, trails, breweries and tours.

The focus is to increase restaurant listings on in Regional NSW destinations. Destination NSW has partnered with de Groots media, publishers of the highly successful website, to offer businesses increased exposure by publishing information on, and

To make the most of the Restaurant Australia opportunity, it's important for industry to align their text, videos and images with key messages from the campaign which are defined as "People, Produce and Place" and tell the story about what makes the experience special e.g. people (winemaker, chef, grower), history (first vines planted), how it is made, speciality wine styles, local produce and amazing locations and landmarks.

Businesses can activate and update listings including details of their food and wine experiences on Get Connected, Destination NSW's free website membership program, open to all tourism operators within the State,
